the Database Engineer will be responsible for the design, development and maintenance of all databases for the products, website and company tools. Design the most efficient database queries and work with developers. Review functional specifications and business requirements, and design the most efficient database. Design a data archiving and backup methodology. Document db design and Data dictionary. Create database for all company products. Create test scripts for database testing and analysis. Work with network administrators to set up and maintain database servers. Occasionally generate ad-hoc reports via custom queries. Optimize database and queries to improve system performance.
