Hi,

An operating system (OS) is the software component of a computer system that is responsible for the management and coordination of activities and the sharing of the resources of the computer. The OS acts as a host for application programs that are run on the machine. As a host, one of the purposes of an OS is to handle the details of the operation of the hardware. This relieves application programs from having to manage these details and makes it easier to write applications. Almost all computers use an OS of some type.

Hi,

Why is it everyone says the Sql server needs to be the beast of the cluster, but it seems the Web Server is always running at the highest load and has the most activity.

I was running identical Web and Sql servers, and the web server always had the most activity and was using more ram and Cpu usage vs the Sql server?

For me I do have an integrated Avatar program that uses the web form of Vicidial and maybe that is it. But for me it seems I should make my Web Server the beast in comparison to the Sql server.

Hi,

The idea of connecting your PC to Meshlium with a crossover cable implies that your PC is connected trough Wifi or any other interface to Internet and shar this connection with Meshlium. Otherwise, Meshlium will connect to your PC, but won't get to the internet.

We don't have any nowledge about your network topology and configuration, so we can be of little help in this sense.
You should ask for help to your IT department. They will sure guide you in the process to give internet connection to Meshlium. You only need this connection for some minutes while you update to last software version.
